OSSYFEST
FAQ'S

Ossyfest is a 4-day music festival based in pubs and bars around Oswaldtwistle featuring music from local artists, both known and unknown. The event aims to provide a platform for musicians from the local area while raising money for Free Music Lessons Charity, and supporting the venues of the local area.

Ossyfest is held in August each year, since 2022. The 2024 event will take place between the 8th and 11th of August.

Ticketing information will be released shortly, alongside the lineup of acts and the venues which are taking part.

Free Music Lessons Charity is a Hyndburn-based charity which provides free music tuition to local children who couldn’t otherwise afford it. As arts funding is cut in schools the number of young people without any form of musical education or exposure to instruments is increasing, which is where FML aims to bridge the gap.

Over 1000 children have received tuition provided by FML since 2022, entirely funded by the money raised from Ossyfest itself. This includes sessions and workshops held at multiple primary and secondary schools in the local area.
